Dr. Larry G. Kutina, DDS
A third-generation dentist, Dr. Larry Kutina joined the Great Bend family
practice in 1989. Dr. Kutina is a graduate of the University of Missouri,
Kansas City Dental School and the prestigious Pankey Institute of
Advanced Dental Education. His achievements include Past President of the Central
Kansas Dental Study Club, Past President of the Central District of the
Kansas Dental Association, Past delegate to the Executive Council of the
Kansas Dental Association, and appointment to the ad-hoc committee of Kansas
Dental Board of expanded duties of the dental assistant. Dr. Kutina remains
on the cutting edge of dentistry with advanced training in laser and
computerized dentistry.
A family man, Dr. Kutina has been married to wife Anne for 20 years, and has
two children, Andrew, 16, and Elizabeth, 13. He is an active member in his
community and in his church. Dr. Kutina was a past trustee to the USD 428
Education Foundation, and a past board member and President of the Pastoral
Council of the Prince of Peace Parrish. He serves the community with his
dentistry as a volunteer of the Kansas Dental Mission of Mercy.
Dr. Kutina’s hobbies include golfing, quail hunting with his bird dogs, and

Melissa
Office Manager
Melissa has been with Dr. Kutina since 1995 and serves as Office Manager. Melissa attended the Pankey Institute of Continuing Education. Married with three daughters, Melissa enjoys spending time with her family and pets, participating in church activities, walking, and sunbathing.

Sarah
Dental Assistant
Sarah has been a member of the team since 1999, when she joined as Dental Assistant. Sarah graduated from the Salina Area Vo-Tech Dental Assistant program. Sarah attended the Pankey Institute of Continuing Education and Barton County Community College. Sarah is married with two sons, and enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with her family. |

Carey
Dental Hygienist
Carey is the newest member of our team, joining us in June 2007. Carey received her Dental Hygiene degree from Wichita State University in 2007. Prior to attending Dental Hygiene school, Carey practiced for eight years as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. Carey has one son and enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her pets. She has volunteered at Kansas Mission of Mercy, donating dental services to those in need. Carey's hobbies include snow skiing, sports and other outdoor acitivities. |
